『for the price you can get this for (under $15 including s/h) its more than worth it. as with any of the shiek show 3 packs its an excellent deal on quality released classic movies. buying these seperately would cost you a lot more. if you do not own any of these or own one of them than this is worth getting. jungle holocaust is directed by ruggero deodato of 'cannibal holocaust' fame, this came out prior to CH.』

『It's gore overload!!!!! (As if that were possible). You won't find more pounds of torn flesh or extra ounces of bloodly spewage for the buck though. This triple feature rules!

Jungle Holocaust ('77)
Ruggero Deodato's first glorious tale of cannibalism. After a plane crash, Robert finds himself all alone in the jungle. He quickly gets captured by cannibals, and they find great delight in torturing and humiliating him. This also has brutal animal killings, a plethora of nudity, a real looking child birth, plus the hot Me Me Lai as the tribal chick. She don't eat meat she sure like the bone!

Eaten Alive ('80)
Umberto Lenzi offers another sleazy catastrophe. This starts a little slow, but when it gets going--whoa! A woman bravely surges into the jungle in search of her sister, who joined some extreme cult. The natives want to eat her, and not in a way she would enjoy. Besides the basics--animal killing, decapitations, severed limbs, nudity--this also has some nice gang bang action, plus a sex toy dipped in snake venom. It don't get much classier than that!

Massacre in Dinosaur Valley ('85)
This one gets slightly cheesy for a moment, plus the cannibals don't get enough screen time. It's still good bloody fun though. A great sex scene helps out, of course. Plus this has some quicksand. A velociraptor rape scene would have been a welcome surprise, haha.

『They sure don't make italian exploitation movies like they used to. These are three of the most ridiculous cannibal movies ever made. Each movie is chock full of poor acting, poor dubbing, ludicrous scenarios, eviscerations, dead reptiles, scantily clad women, chauventistic males, graphic scenes of gore, rapes, and of course fat hunger crazed cannibals. Jungle Holocaust, Eaten Alive, and Massacre in Dinosaur Valley offer a hearty meal to the hungry cannibal connasieur and should quelch even the most ravenous appetite for quite some time.』

(They have a never-ending hunger for human flesh!.)

『This collection from Shriek Show was quite good, if your looking for some gory good fun or sleazy Italian cannibal films then you've come to the right place. The reason why I got this collection in the first place was because it had both Jungle Holocaust and Massacre In Dinosaur Valley I already own Eaten Alive which I must admit is not a favorite of mine and I couldn't resist the cheap price for this boxset $17.99 for three films. Eaten Alive was unintentionally hilarious especially the scene at the helicopter which has some of the most inane and dumbest dialogue I've ever heard, the film also had a great gore scene at the end where both women Paula Senatore and Me Me Lai get eaten while their still alive. Theres tons of gore, violence and nudity in this film but the only problem is that some of the footage was stolen from other cannibal films and it was pretty obvious, Eaten Alive was so bad but some parts can be enjoyable I guess. I reviewed Eaten Alive last year and I felt like my review was a bit too harsh still I would give this film a 2.5/5 star rating which is an o.k. cannibal horror film with some cheesy and over the top bad acting and other hilarious stuff that happens in it which I find slightly entertaining.

Jungle Holocaust was directed by Ruggero Deadato and it was done before Cannibal Holocaust and it seems like he was good at it unfortunately these films always had some real live animals being killed but if you don't like this sort of stuff then forget it, Jungle Holocaust was a fantastic Italian cannibal film it starts off with a group of people who are looking for a drilling site deep in the jungles of Malaysia and they soon get lost, their colleagues Robert Harper (Massimo Foschi) and Rolf (Ivan Rassimov) need to meet up with the group but their plain crashes in the middle of the Jungle and their pilot gets killed and the other team has been eaten by the cannibals until Robert is captured and is kept in a pit and is stripped from his clothes and humiliated by the other tribe, he manages to escape and kidnaps one of the women from the tribe. I liked the first half of the film better than the second half but I still thought it was great. The gore was brilliant and if you enjoy this type of film then you're going to love this, theres scenes of cannibalism, rape and one character gets killed by a huge spike ball trap that skewers him on a tree 5/5 stars.

Massacre In Dinosaur Valley was quite a bizarre and cheesy cannibal film, I don't think it was as gory as the other two and there weren't that many flesh eating scenes in it but it does compensate with having lots of nudity. I think this film was more like a jungle adventure only with a bit of gore and violence, Michael Sopkiw stars as Kevin Hall a bone hunter from the Boston Institute Of Paleontology he takes a plain trip across the jungle along with a group of people to go to a place where there are lots of fossils and bones to study however the plain crashes and he is left to lead this group into safety from a bunch of cannibals among other things like quicksand, snakes, crocodiles and some slave traders. The films storyline wasn't that good infact there was alot of stupidity and the dialogue was quite laughable very much like Eaten Alive but it did have its moment and was a bit fun 3.5/5 stars. Shriek show provided the discs with typical trailers for other trashy European horror films and the usual interviews with cast and crew and picture galleries, I highly recommend this boxset to Italian horror fans.
